My professional journey began in nursing, where I supported people through some of their most challenging and life-altering moments. I later expanded that work by coordinating medical teams for disaster relief—helping communities in crisis find stability and care. Those experiences strengthened my deep empathy and sharpened my intuition for guiding others with care, compassion, and steadiness. They also ignited my love for travel and my passion for connecting with people in unexpected places and under extraordinary circumstances. It was during this time that I offered myself the grace to be vulnerable and a pivotal realization became clear. I am gay.

Living in a U.S. red state, I felt isolated and was too scared to attempt queer connections close to home. I was grateful to find an online community, but I craved more. In 2019, I decided to combine my love of travel and my desire to expand my circle of queer friends. I reached out to people I met online and established a multi-state itinerary to find other women like me. My first stop was in New Orleans, where I had the pleasure of connecting with women I’d only known online. That was all it took. I found my people and I was hooked. I spent the next 6 years traveling to 26 states and 7 countries. I met the most loving, generous, authentic humans in absolutely glorious places. During these adventures, I grew more comfortable in my own skin and more settled in my queer community. After hundreds of conversations with other people like me, I decided to launch twelve. Curated Lesbian Travel LLC so that more LGBTQ+ women will be able to have safe and exciting places to grow their communities and friendships. My purpose is to connect LGBTQ+ women on similar journeys, both in travel and in life. Thank you for visiting. I hope to see you soon.
